"I created an artwork." - Jasmijn

Hi, I'm Jasmijn @‌jasmijndenhoed, 21 years old and I love fashion and art. My hobbies are designing and sewing clothes and creating art.

I have been in the mental health world since childhood and have been through several admissions and treatments. Since a few months, I have been living back in my parental home with my father, mother and brother. Unfortunately, due to my autism and other mental health problems, I no longer attend school or work.

Since I have been home, I have been given my own atelier where I can be active with my clothes, designs and art. I created an artwork (with accompanying description) about autism and overstimulation, which I unveiled at the FANN conference, wearing my homemade/designed clothes. I hope to help and inspire people with this.
